Finished off building
up all the suspension, dad (Keith) finished off some bits on the bonnet/grille
(the bodywork is complete now) and I finally plucked up the courage to split
my gearbox! Checked everything over in the box (selector, selector circlips
and syncros basically) gave it a good clean up and put it all back together
with new gaskets. I was assisted in this by Lee Fairhurst who did a good job
making sure everything went back in the right order and we didn't have any
bits left over when we had finished. The box is now ready to go back in, still
haven't got round to remounting the seat yet but it will have to wait now
'cos I'm off to sunny Tenerife for a week of NOTHING later this week.
